Melliss LLP, are a medium size practice of Civil and Structural Engineers based in Guildford and provide a full range of Civil and Structural Engineering services. The Practice began life as J.C. Melliss and Co. in 1878, formed by J.C. Melliss, a retired Royal Engineer Officer and his son continued the company until 1955 having formed a partnership, Melliss & Partners with HJ Smart. The name changed to Melliss & Partners in 1961 when two practices merged. Melliss and Partners became Melliss LLP in 2002.

Melliss LLP employs a team of highly qualified and experienced engineers and technicians providing a high degree of in-depth skill and knowledge in the use of all modern construction materials, techniques and current codes of practice.

In our commitment to quality improvement, we are constantly training our staff, and using advanced three dimensional modelling software coupled with the latest release of AutoCAD and extensive knowledge of current communication technology to ensure information is shared throughout the design team.  The presentation of high quality design drawings and information are an integral part of our quality approach.

As Consulting Engineers, we will appraise your plans critically but constructively, and provide alternative approaches and recommendations. This we do based on our considerable in depth expertise, and dedication to enhancing our professional relationship and reputation with our Clients.
